LifeLong Gifts® Terms & Conditions
Payments and Returns
All invoices are due upon receipt unless other arrangements have been made. Balances past due 30 days from the invoice date will be subject to an additional 1 ½% monthly penalty fee. Any discrepancies must be reported within 10 days from receipt of merchandise. No returns accepted without prior authorization. No returns will be authorized 30 days after delivery. Call 800.869.7562 for a return authorization number. A 25% restocking charge applies. No returns accepted on dated or custom merchandise.
Personalized Products
If we have not received your personalization information and/or proof approval within 90 days of your order, we will ship your product without personalization.
Proofs
You are allowed one round of changes at no charge after you receive your initial proof. Additional changes will be performed at a charge of $9 per round of changes. No further changes can be submitted.
Order Cancellation
Due to the personalized nature of LifeLong Gifts products, orders that are canceled may be subject to a fee. The fee will depend on the stage of production the order is currently in. For example: if the order is in its beginning stages of production, you will be charged for a small percentage of the order; if the order is in final stages of production, a higher cancellation fee will be collected. For this reason, if you need to cancel an order, it is best to do it as early as possible.
Privacy
LifeLong Gifts is committed to protecting your privacy on the Internet. We will only ask for information necessary to process the current transaction. The personal information you submit to us will not be used outside of normal business operations (e.g. shipping). LifeLong Gifts does not sell or rent customer information.
Security
LifeLong Cutlery uses the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to ensure your credit card information is secure. When you enter your financial data on our site, it is immediately converted into an indecipherable code. Only LifeLong Cutlery servers can read this encrypted code. We employ VeriSign, one of the most trusted, most used providers of SSL Certificates in the world, to encrypt and transfer data.
Cookies
LifeLong Gifts uses session cookies (small data files read by web browsers and stored on your hard drive) to collect information to assist us in providing you with a smoother shopping experience. No secure information, such as billing information will be saved after you leave our site. You may, however, choose to save your non-secure personalization information on our site for future use. In order to place an order or personalize merchandise on this site, you must have cookies enabled.
Use of Information
LifeLong Gifts collects information from you when you establish or update an account, enter a contest, shop online, or request a catalog. Categories of information collected include name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, and credit card information. This information is used to allow LifeLong Gifts to deliver the products ordered, fulfill requests, contact you in case of order or delivery issues, verify an order, respond to your inquiries, or deliver information about our products to you. Your information may be released to third party vendors for order fulfillment. These vendors agree to protect your information in the same fashion.
Communications
We send promotional emails periodically. You can opt out of these communications at any time. Via email, use the opt-out link located at the bottom of the email. To opt out of direct mail communications, give us a call or email our Customer Service Department. If you opt out of receiving promotional information from LifeLong Gifts, you will not receive information about specials, new products, and other information that may be of interest to you.
Testimonials
Statements of satisfaction from our customers are posted throughout our site. Testimonials may include the customer's photo, portions of a customer's name and/or geographic location. All testimonials are customer approved.
Contests
At the conclusion of contests, all entrants will be notified that a winner has been selected. Entry into contests requires your agreement to allow LifeLong Gifts to publish your name, affiliation, and/or geographic location on our site and in marketing materials.
