How do we achieve the hammered finish? 
The blade is heated just enough to soften the steel, which creates a surface acceptable for hammering. The knife is then hand-polished. With extra attention given to each of the pockets created by the hammer, a high-luster, mirror finish can be seen over the entire blade.
