Designing Perfection

Personalizing or customizing our products may mean sending us a logo, photo or background image. There are a few simple rules to follow.

Accepted Software Formats:

We accept the following for print ready art (no conversion required):

• Adobe^® InDesign^® CS5 or earlier
• Adobe^® Illustrator^® CS5 or earlier
• Adobe^® Photoshop^® CS5 or earlier
• Adobe^® Acrobat^® PDF (These must be set up to follow the layout specifications for the product you're ordering.)

Fonts

If you supply a layout, please supply the fonts used in your layout. If fonts are not submitted, we may have to substitute fonts that may not look the same as your layout.

Accepted Image Types:

When uploading graphics or photos for your personalization or customization, we accept the following file formats:

• TIFF (preferred)
• EPS
• JPEG (only with maximum quality settings and largest file sizes. We convert files received in this format to TIFF format)
• PSD

Color Quality

Please be aware that due to the nature of four-color printing, we cannot print every color that you see on your computer monitor. We follow the industry standard of "pleasing color." Due partially to the widely varying results from different output devices, there is no guarantee that your finished piece will match your printed sample. If you require "critical color" or a precise match, please contact us to obtain a digital color proof. Once you provide us with a hard copy of the color target as a reference and approve the additional fees (starting at $100), we will then produce and send you an actual paper proof to give you a better idea of how your job will look when printed on our commercial equipment. Once your printed proof is approved and returned to us, we will strive to match the color of that proof when printing your actual order. If any further changes are needed, a new proof and additional color correction fees will be required.

Image Resolution

For maximum image clarity, we recommend image resolution of 350 dpi (dots per inch) at final size of reproduction. Images with lower resolution can be accepted but may result in an image that is blurry or jagged when printed.

Logo Resolution

We recommend vector Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps files. Logos in .tiff or .jpeg formats require a minimum image resolution of 350 dpi.
